How is this program different and why does it work?

The PEM Wellness Program™ uses a clearly defined protocol with each month building upon the previous month. The first month focuses on cleansing the body and resetting the nervous system to stop the constant fight or flight stress loop. Once this is addressed, the body can more easily process and release trapped emotions which is the focus of the second month. Heart / Brain Coherence: The heart is over 60x more powerful than the brain. You will learn to tap into the power of your heart to help regulate your brainwaves, heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration. You will learn an easy technique to rewrite your programmed response to triggering events going forward. You no longer have to live in the past or feel defined by your former experiences. 

Reprogram Limiting Beliefs - Our conscious mind controls 5% of our life, and our subconscious mind controls the remaining 95%! When limiting beliefs get programmed into the subconscious mind, we see repeating patterns of dysfunction in our lives that can affect health, finances, relationships, and more. In Month 3, you will uncover your own personal limiting beliefs that are holding you back. You will then listen to positive affirmation soundtracks that are embedded with Alpha & Theta brain frequencies designed to open the subconscious mind to reprogram you for success.

Ask the Right Questions - The brain will try to answer any question asked of it, and there is a particular way to structure these questions in order to engage the subconscious to find the answers you're seeking. Frequently Asked Questions

Life is crazy busy for me. Will this be a big time commitment?

This is not a huge time commitment, though it is a commitment! Each day you will listen to a 30 minute relaxing brainwave soundtrack, and you can listen while falling asleep at night so that doesn't take any time from your day. Each day you will also do one or two short relaxation practices (5-10 minutes each). That's it for the daily activities!  

You will watch approximately 30-60 minutes of video lessons each week (not daily!!). And every other week there will be a 90 minute live coaching call on zoom.

You will also have a short call with your buddy (accountability partner) each week. 

One week in the first month you'll do the 5-day mung bean soup cleanse and that will involve some cooking, but it's not difficult. And a few of the weeks will include a special practice or journaling activity that could take about 30 minutes.
When are the 6 live group coaching calls?

We will have two live 90-minute group coaching calls each month, for a total of six calls. These calls will be a mix of teaching, sharing, and live 1:1 coaching opportunities. Being coached yourself, as well as witnessing the coaching of your peers, is an amazing growth opportunity!

The coaching calls will be on Monday evenings at 8:00 PM Eastern (5:00 PM Pacific) on the following days in 2022: 
- April 11 & 25
- May 9 & 23
- June 6 & 20

What if I miss some of the Live coaching calls? 

No problem! The calls will be recorded and shared within the small group. And I'll be active in our online community for more support between calls.
Do I have to follow a strict diet for these 3 months?

No! You don't have to change your diet at all! In fact, sometimes it can be really stressful to completely change your diet and this program is built to reduce your stress, not add to it. If you know your diet needs helps but aren't ready to go there yet, this program is perfect for you. You can dip your big toe in the water with the 5-day cleanse in the first month, or just watch everyone's else's experience with it if that's easier.

BUT, if you are ready to make healthier food choices, the 5-day mung soup cleanse will be an excellent start and you'll learn some yummy new recipes with inflammation-busting spices that have been used for thousands of years in the Ayurvedic healing tradition.
What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is a holistic healing tradition that originated in ancient India over 5,000 years ago.  It is a Sanskrit word that translates to "the science of life", and it awakens your body's innate wisdom and repair mechanisms to bring you back into your natural state of health and wellness. Ayurveda looks at the individual constitution of each person and makes personalized recommendations based on his/her unique situation. Unlike some of the more modern healthcare systems, Ayurveda does not take a "one size fits all" approach and is therefore able to hone in on the specific root causes of a person's imbalances. 
What will happen during my private consultation with an Ayurvedic doctor?

Included in this program is a private 30-minute 1:1 consultation over zoom with an Ayurvedic doctor from Ayushakti, a global leader in Ayurveda that has treated 1.5M clients worldwide over the past 35 years. The doctors at Ayushakti are meticulously trained with decades of experience in this ancient healing tradition. After listening to your concerns and symptoms, examining your tongue, and reading your face and eyes, the doctor will give you a customized recommendation involving herbs, diet, and detox protocols to maximize health. Heather will help answer any questions you have and support you in implementing the recommendations.
What will happen during my 60 minute private consultation with Heather?

Every private consultation is different and will be customized to fit your individual needs. Some clients want private health coaching for a particular symptom or issue.  Others want to have a private tapping session to help dig deep into emotional blocks. Some people want to discuss the Functional Medicine or Ayurvedic approaches to certain health conditions.  Others want to discuss food plans. Some want to dig deep into their subconscious belief patterns. Heather will pull from her extensive experience in these areas as well as her proven intuitive abilities to provide deep support and guidance.
What are mung beans and are they gross?! What is this 5-day cleanse all about?

Mung beans are DELICIOUS and are one of the best-kept secrets of Ayurveda! These tiny beans are densely pack with incredible nutrients and are one of the healthiest sources of plant protein out there. In addition to providing deep nourishment to our tissues, mung beans have incredible detoxing and anti-inflammatory effects on the body.  An article published in the Journal of Chemistry Central states, "mung beans have biological activities including antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, antihypertensive, lipid metabolism accommodation, antihypertensive and antitumor effects.”

The 5-day mung bean soup cleanse is a specific protocol created by the Ayurvedic doctors at Ayushakti in India. The cleanse is designed to reduce inflammation, detox the body, nourish the tissues, and help reset the digestive system. The soup is easy to make and the medicinal Ayurvedic herbs like turmeric, cumin, coriander, and ginger make it absolutely delicious! Of course this 5-day cleanse is optional and you can watch your peers experience the benefits, or you can choose to jump in and join them! We will do this cleanse together as a group during the first month of the TOTAL TRANSFORMATION program.  

Oh, and Heather will share a magical detox tea recipe that provides additional digestive support during this 3 month program (and beyond)! It's easy to make and works to reduce toxins and strengthen the digestive system.
How will the soundtracks be used over these 3 months?

You will listen to a 30 minute soundtrack each day, and the soundtrack will change each month. The first month is focused on Physical Transformation, so you will listen to Delta brain frequencies to promote deeper sleep and physical healing within the body. The second month is focused on Emotional Transformation, so you will listen to Theta frequencies which help us access the subconscious mind and release stuck emotions and past traumas. The third month is focused on Mental Transformation, so you will listen to Alpha frequencies which help reducing feelings of anxiety by bringing us into the Present Moment and away from mental worries and stresses. We will also work on reprogramming limiting beliefs in the 3rd month and a special Alpha/Theta soundtrack containing positive affirmation statements will be used.  

Most people listen to the soundtracks as they fall asleep at night since they can help you fall asleep faster by slowing down your brainwaves. And that way it doesn't take any additional time out of your day! The soundtracks are extremely relaxing and include nature sounds and peaceful music. 

Because of the neuroplasticity of the brain, you build new neural pathways by consistently listening to these soundtracks.  It's important to be consistent with listening to the soundtracks on a daily basis during this 3 month program.  Skipping one or two days every now and then is fine, but generally you should try to listen to one of the soundtracks each day of the program. This is pretty easy to do considering that the tracks are enjoyable and can help you fall asleep faster at night!
What is the SELF Method?

The SELF Method is a standalone 21-day program designed to reduce stress and boost health. It includes over 3 hours of video lessons where Heather explains the science behind brain frequency soundtracks, vagus nerve stimulation, breathing techniques, and the release of trapped emotions from the body. Heather also teaches about the effect of chronic stress on the body and how it can lead to autoimmune and digestive issues. 

Each day of the 21 days, you are clearly led through an established protocol that involves listening to brainwave soundtracks, doing certain vagus nerve exercises, and practicing certain breathing techniques. It is a minimal time requirement that brings incredible benefits in a very short period of time. You will go through the SELF Method protocol with your small group during the first month of the TOTAL TRANSFORMATION program, and Heather will be there to support you and answer questions. The self-paced SELF Method program is $147 when purchased alone, but it comes included with the 3 month PEM Wellness Program™.
